I'm hoping someone has a sandbox of the various scripto installations (e.g. mediawiki+scripto, omeka+scripto) that I might be able to allow a researcher to get on and trial uploading some of their collections to see if it might be applicable for doing a small workshop or summer school for annotation, a la TEI summer schools in Oxford?

Naturally it would be valuable to have such a sandbox which might auto erase once a week for people to come along and trial Scripto's use?  Apologies if this already exists and I've not discovered it?

Kind Regards,

There are sandboxes set up for Omeka+Scripto and WordPress+Scripto so that users can experience the setup from the transcriber's point of view. They are available from the software's download page: http://scripto.org/download/

Is there a way to get admin access to the Omeka+Scripto sandbox so we can upload our own data to trial?

I see the wordpress+scripto sandbox has contact details for login and have contacted them accordingly.

The login contact on the wordpress site is for the creation of a transcription account, not for administrative side access. We simply cannot offer outside users access to the administrative interfaces for these sandboxes at this point because we don't have a chron job set up to clear the data.

Thanks.

we might be able to host a couple of sandbox instances that will auto erase once a week so humanties scholars could easily have a play with their own data to see how it works?  Though we would need a configuration management file of the build so it is easy for us to build a new box once a week and kill the other one (without losing dependencies when upgrades occur).
