How to simplify the huge mail sent via scm-notify plugin?

Hi,

I am using scm-notify plugin to get mail notification.

On new branch creation, scm sends huge mail containing changesets from 1st to 5th . This happens either in merge or first commit of branch creation (refer link).

Is there any option to control the content coming via mail or how to simplify the huge mail content?

Note:

    In our case 5000 changesets are coming via mail for 2 or 3 year old project.

 My Case:
