GSOC: Adding Linear Mixed Model (LMM) support to SciRuby

To whom this may concern,

I am writing to express my interest in the project idea 'Adding Linear Mixed Model (LMM) support to SciRuby'. I am a student at McGill university double majoring in computer science and maths.

I have absolutely no experience in Ruby but I have a good knowledge of statistics and python (including the whole scientific python stack) and I am very interested in learning the language and making my first contribution to an open source project.
