scirate update

Hi Aram,

I haven't really been giving scirate any attention, but Jaiden's been working on it again and he's now almost finished most of the backend stuff. (Sorry, there was a period last year where nothing was happening.)

The main thing still to do is to fix a number of small things in the front-end, and then we'll do some usability testing to uncover further problems. After this (late Jan?), it'll be ready to go from our perspective and that's when it'll be most efficient for you to spend some time on it again. 

By the way, the staging server is now at https://scirate.draftable.com/.

Hi Ben,

Sounds great!  I'll check it out soon.

One update from my end.  I'm the chair of the TQC program committee, and have suggested a new policy of partial open reviewing, meaning that part of the reviews of accepted papers will be put on scirate, signed by the PC as a whole.  (Parts will also be PC-only and PC+author-only.)  So that should help get a lot more comments onto the site and hopefully will get people used to seeing discussions there.
