Now according to this report, the potential electricity gained from the Clean Renewable Geothermals is about 517,800 MW of electricity as stated in this report:

pubs.usgs.gov/fs/2008/3082/pdf/fs2008-3082.pdf

It says that at present we are using 2,500 MW from geothermals located in Alaska, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, and Utah.

Now in their 517,800 MW electric potential, I doubt they included the **what if we exploit all the geothermals of the Hawaii and Yellowstone National Parks**.

Probably the Hawaii and Yellowstone Parks geothermals could supply the entire nation of USA with almost unlimited energy needs. And in exchange for exploiting those two national parks we continue to federally increase the size of those two parks as a wilderness area and fence it in, so as to protect that wilderness. They give us energy and we maintain it as wilderness save for the power plants.
