Maybe Mahipal-ji and I are old-fashioned, and so we are missing out some good things about the present, but I don't see present movies as things we are missing out on, or for that matter, TV sitcoms. They are unwatchable, being gimmicky, shorn of any good plot, not providing useful directions to private and public lives, overmuch sex and violence, no comedy, just despair and sarcasm, creating tensions, providing fodder for crude tastes, show-off, no music, bad lyrics... I just don't see movies these days.

On the other hand, this tasteless stuff will suit dumbfucks like you, and there are so many of you e=mcc blabbering blackholics.

So it is, that anything worth watching on our TV screen has to be over 25 years old. Like say Star Trek, I dream of Jeannie, etc in the US scenario and the great BBC serials of the past.

It is not that talent does not exist - it just does not manifest in TV and movies. There is plenty of talent, and that comes up via various online apps like email, whatsapp, facebook, youtube, etc.

Not so. I don't think any normal person could watch any of today's
"sitcoms" and even most movies and survive with all your brain cells
intact.

Well, you are right banjo, I do seem to spend a lot of time on the
subchannel reruns. Been watching star treks but bad news is I've seen
almost all of them so I know how they are going to come out. However,
old sitcoms also were crap back then as well, It was just that they
didn't say hilarious things like "penis" and "vagina" to get the huge
laughs like today.

TV has a problem similar to science today. When a profession is taken
