Help with number sequence!!

This is a random question off an application I must send in in the
next hr. I need help and I have never seen a number sequence like
this. Nor do I understand it. PLEASE help.

1) Choose the number that best compleetes the number sequence.
113246525

a)25 b)26 c)24 d)27 e)28

And the numbers are not spaced I dont understand....

Whenever you have a sequence question, the very
first place you should go is the On-Line
Encyclopedia of Integer Sequences.

I used trial and error to determine the spacing. I
first tried 1,1,3,2,4,6,5,2,5 and found nothing, so
then I tried putting the digits 25 together (since
many sequences have a general upward trend, so why
not join the last two digits) and found sequence
number A059417:

"1, 1, 3, 2, 4, 6, 5, 25, 27, 26, 676, 678, 677,
458329, 458331, 458330, 210066388900, 210066388902,
210066388901, 44127887745906175987801,
44127887745906175987803, 44127887745906175987802..."

Notice the reference listed on the page:

"Seen on a quiz."
