Discussion for SRFI 106 has begun, with a draft
available at:

It may be prudent for WG2 members to participate
in this directly, so that for R7RS large all we need
do is rubber stamp SRFI 106 (and possibly choose
a (scheme ...) namespace name for the library, if
that's what we want for officially blessed SRFIs).
Note we voted to provide only TCP support, but
I don't think that need be binding at this early stage,
and regardless the API should be compatible.
