Error on creating security groups

I was going through the tutorial and it creates my servers fine but i receive an error
Cannot launch server on 'ec2' platform: Cannot create security group 'scalr.ip-pool': AWS Error. Request CreateSecurityGroup failed. An internal error has occurred (RequestID: 1b01cc09-aae7-4609-9e24-6d2f5b1cbfbd)

I also don't get the welcome splash screen

Mark,

I suspect you maybe didn't the IAM Policy setup completed.  This is just a guess.

Hi Mark,

As Jay noted, this may be due to the IAM Policy setup for AWS not having been completed.  A quick walkthrough for this is available on our Wiki:

Regarding your splash page, can you elaborate on your experience?  This may be related to security group configuration on your farm roles, but additional details and screenshots would be helpful.

I have the proper IAM setup because it builds my servers and spins them up but in the tutorial it gives a scalr splash screen I was assuming that the load balancer and the apache instances were preconfigured I can fix it in the apache conf file not that I know they are not.
