How to specify git branch with ChefSolo

I'm trying to use ChefSolo for bootstraping a host and I'm using git URL for the repository with private key. How do I specify which branch too use?

Hi,

Branch is always "master". This is what will be eventually improved in our Chef integration.

Thanks Marat. Do you have any plans to support Berkshelf as well?

Right now we have no plans to add built-in support for Berkshelf due to low customer demand.
