Hello,

I am interested in using scalr for a private cloud, but the plan is to
use opennebula for the cloud platform.
I saw on the roadmap that there aren't any plans to support Opennebula
as a cloud platform, so what must be done for this to change ?

Regards,

Hi Nikolai, thanks for joining our little Scalr community!

Custom development can be sponsored as has been done for Eucalyptus. Can you share with us your use case?

Hello,

I see that opennebula exposes an EC2 and a OCCI interface.

Is it possible to connect scalr to the EC2 interface ? (or the OCCI, I do not really care.....)

Hi mr42,

As it turns out, connecting Scalr to an Opennebula exposed EC2 interface is not possible.  We do not currently support Opennebula.  Having said that, could you share your use case for this?

Many thanks,

sure.
we run opennebula cloud :-)

if we could simply hook it up to scalr, we would not have to migrate the 2500 core to "something else"
before we can get started on the actual target: have a hybrid cloud :-)
