Don't know if anyone cares about this, or should care, but

val q = List(1)
q.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force.view.force

bombs with the rather nice "That entry seems to have slain the compiler". Stack overflow related to tail call elimination it seems.

Scala 2.11.8 (Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM, Java 1.8.0_65) running on windows 2008 R2

FYI

     Hello,

  The stacktrace indicates that it is the typer that crashes. Can get the same error with

  List(1).toSet.toSet. ... .toSet

     Best, Oliver
