Salat on reactivemongo

Hey,

reactivemongo is pretty new and seems to be a promising replacement for the mongo driver. Are there any thoughts about running salat with reactivemongo? Is it even possible?

Hi Tom,

I've seen reactivemongo, definitely.

No, you can't use Salat with reactivemongo right now.

But I hope to modularize it soon so that you could use Salat with your choice of Hammersmith or reactivemongo.

That sounds awesome.

I am currently working on a project involving play2, akka and mongo. Not using an async mongo driver seems wasteful ;)

We have just release simple-reactivemongo, https://github.com/hmrc/simple-reactivemongo, as an alternative.
