A well known issue (see https://github.com/sonatype/m2eclipse-scala/issues/44#issuecomment-360999658)
m2eclipse-scala cannot programmatically set the SCALA level due to limitation of Scala IDE (back in 2014), unless this has changed
Any thoughts?
