ScalaIde-4.6.1 with Eclipse Oxygen causes Indexing Job Error

When adding a clean scala project to eclipse oxygen the following error shows up:

An internal error occurred during: "Project Indexing Job: My-Project".

Could not initialize class org.apache.lucene.codecs.Codec$Holder

My setup:

Version: Oxygen Release (4.7.0)

Build id: 20170620-1800

Operating System: Fedora 26 (Workstation Edition)

CPE OS Name: cpe:/o:fedoraproject:fedora:26

Kernel: Linux 4.12.9-300.fc26.x86_64

Architecture: x86-64

openjdk version "1.8.0_144"

OpenJDK Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_144-b01)

OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.144-b01, mixed mode)

plugins:

ScalaIDE 4.6.1.v-2_12-201706090854-f511faf

ScalaIDE 4.6.1 does not support Oxygen. I run it, and it still mostly works, except for debugging and some other things.

ScalaIDE 4.7.0 should be released in the next couple of weeks, which will have support for Oxygen.
