Scala Nature not added for imported Maven project

Hi all, 

We have a user reported that he was annoyed by Scala nature not added causing things not working after he imported his maven project: 

https://github.com/scalatest/scalatest-eclipse-plugin/issues/29

I am not sure if I can do anything to help at the plugin level, any pointer/guide/advise would be much appreciated.
