Hi, I’m looking for a great scala developer to bring in for a few projects I’m working with a client on.
If you can suggest any good people, please get in touch.  The work is contract-based, we can pay market rates, and will ramp up in the new year.

Its a funded healthcare startup that is focusing on senior care. The work involves integrating data from sensors that track ambient activity awareness with some common APIs.

I don’t have a proper listing, but can share more details with anyone that is interested. I'm based in SF, and would love to hear from you.

Cheers,

Jim Ratcliffe

Hey Jim My name is Chris and I am an experienced Scala developer currently doing contract work and my own projects. My most recent open source project is a REST service built with Scala/Spray/MongoDB that integrates with an open source data set made available by the British Library:

While I used to live in the Bay Area I have recently moved to Bozeman, Montana so I could only really pursue an opportunity that allows for a majority of the work to be remote. That said I have quite a bit of experience working with remote teams and am confident in my ability to communicate effectively.

I will attach my resume and link to my LinkedIn profile and github account so you can get a feel for my background. I'd be happy to answer any questions you have about my experience and discuss your needs.

Thanks!
Chris Carrier
