Savon : ReadTimeout and Open Timeout not working.

Hi,

I have set read and open timeout to 1 sec at the time of creation 

Savon.client(wsdl: wsdl_url, open_timeout: 1, read_timeout: 1, ssl_verify_mode: none)

But the request is taking more than 4 sec and not terminating / not giving any exception.

Rails : 4.2

Ruby : 2.3.3

Please help me out this issue. Thanks in Advance.
