Dr Duwagi, our NE president, called me yesterday and he said that few members from NE chapter want to collect and donate to Orient project through SAMS. I asked him to present the idea to the foundation board on Thursday. 

This will be a good project for everyone and opening for good partnership with the Orient.

The hospital is a beacon of hope for tens of thousands of the injured and their families and has a special status in our hearts. 

Many of our doctors spent weeks treating patients in Otmeh's hospital and had only good things to say about their experience, your hospitality and the goodness of your doctors and nurses. 

SAMS, like you,  is committed to help in medical relief in Syria in spite of the challenges and we offer you to collaborate in order to replace the hospital and find a quick alternative to  the needy patients. 

Please feel free to contact me to discuss further details. SAMS will issue a press release about the horrible terrorist act later on today. God bless your effort and bestows His mercy on the victims and their families.

As far as I am concerned, Orient and M10 both were providing great service to the wounded Syrians. We need to support both and work with everyone who is willing to help us in the rebuild process including (ACU).

We can contribute with a lot of the medical equipments from our containers to both hospitals.

Supporting Orient will only legitimize SAMS and strengthen our network.

I do not agree with giving financial support and would not encourage SAMS chapter to collect for that. SAMS projects are in need for our chapters donations  and the doctors we support inside need the salaries paid. We are working on rebuilding M10 and giving bonuses to the doctors who stayed in Aleppo despite the danger . This easily reaches $100,000 for now.

Now our staff inside is asking the same salary as the other hospitals on the border (eg Orient).
