openSUSE packages updates

Hello,

this is a heads up to the openSUSE users mostly. Today we updated
systemsmanagement:saltstack to 2016.3 from 2015.8, which means that the
users of the bootstrap script will get this new major bump from today.

The 2016.3 package is also on its way to Factory / Tumbleweed, and to the
upcoming Leap 42.2. There is a possibility we might not make it for 42.2's
deadline, but we'll try to pull some strings to make it happen. Leap 42.1 will
remain to 2015.8.

Feel free to ping me if you hit any issues or if you need further
clarifications.

2016.3.2 hit the systemsmanagement:saltstack repo yesterday afternoon,
at lease for SLE_12_SP1, perhaps you need to 'zypper ref'.

if you just browse the http://repo.saltstack.com/opensuse/openSUSE_13.2/  with the browser you can see  there is still only  the 2015.8.10  no trace of the new release.

SUSE has been kind to adopt SaltStack into their build system. I think you want to look for these packages here:

https://build.opensuse.org/repositories/systemsmanagement:saltstack

I’m not sure why we still have SUSE/SLES packages at repo.saltstack.com, I’ll ask and see if I can get the person responsible to respond in this thread.

I figured out what’s up here–the packages do get built at build.opensuse.org and they are hosted at the link I gave earlier in the thread. We mirror that repo at repo.saltstack.com at the request of some customers. The two repos should show the same thing, but our mirror process needed a kick this morning (thanks Dave!).
