Just updated salt to 2015.8.5 both on Master and Minions (from 2015.8.3). Now when trying to debug a salt state using 'salt-call -l debug state.sls ...' the session hangs at some point. Using Pdb it's possible to see the process stuck in a loop with the error
---------------------------------
Exception socket.error: error(9, 'Bad file descriptor') in <bound method SyncWrapper.__del__ of <salt.utils.async.SyncWrapper object at 0x0000000003D4E748>> ignored

This is a problem with Windows minion 2015.8.5. After downgrading the minion to 2015.8.3 the 'salt-call -l debug state.sls ..' doesn't throw the socket error

This looks like a bug at initial glance. Can you open an issue on github?
