Dear SailsJS friends,

18F is running a series of "micro-purchasing" experiments -- trying to figure out the US Government can work more nimbly with contractors by doing very small engagements (less than $3500).  There's a little auction site and where folks to bid on mini-projects.

One of the projects uses SailsJS — it’s called Open Opportunities and is a platform that enables collaboration across teams by allowing federal employees to post projects that other employees sign up for as professional development opportunities.  The next set of micro-purchase projects is going to be posted soon -- here's a sample of one that might be good for folks on this list:  https://micropurchase.18f.gov/auctions/17

To participate you need to have a company that has a DUNS number that is registered at SAM.gov.  The registration process is a bit more time-consuming than we would like (sadly not the worst case of long government forms).  More info on what you ned to sign up here: https://micropurchase.18f.gov/login

Feel free to forward this to folks who might be interested!
