I want to use zeta_zeros() on a macbook running OS X 10.12 with Sage 7.5.1 already installed and working quite fine.

According to the documentation:

In order to use zeta_zeros(), you will need to install the optional Odlyzko database package:

sage -i database_odlyzko_zeta

I need more specific help on how to do this installation in the OS X Sage app.

Open up a terminal window and type:

sage -i database_odlyzko_zeta

it might be (if you don't have Sage in your PATH) that you will need to run (in terminal)

/Applications/SageMath-7.5.1.app/sage -i database_odlyzko_zeta

rather than just

sage -i database_odlyzko_zeta
