William Stein here points out a very interesting thread on a whole list dedicated to using Jupyter notebooks for education.  Please feel free to follow and/or comment there!
 
There are some good questions that Thomas Kluyver asks here in
preparation for a talk he is giving at EuroPython on Monday:
