Docbuild with 2 GB of RAM

Is it possible to build Sage with html documentation on a machine with 2
GB RAM without getting the machine to stuck for hours? Some switch for
CPU/RAM -tradeoff? Something else?

Probably not currently. I know it's being worked on but I don't know
what the latest status is.

The main problem is that at certain points it needs to hold the
doctree for the entire documentation in memory, and that's huge. I
suspect it can be made smaller but it's complicated to do.
