Hello, former colleagues from Sac Groovy

Ed, Steve,Brian, et.al:        Congratulations on the new name and theme for your group.

I took a bit of time off to climb the steep Scala learning curve, and am finding it really
worthwhile.    My plan is to not look back and only drop into Java  only  when I have to... and I
think Scala covers everything I liked with Groovy and then some.

So that said -    Here's an exciting offer... free to a good home....  the following classics:

  Groovy & Grails recipes
  Groovy for Domain Specific Languages
Grails Persistence w/ Gorm & GSQL

First crack goes to  my pals & former colleagues from Cal ISO & elsewhere...   But if no takers, I'd be happy to send these to someone in the group.  Hate throwing good books out.

Best regards !
  / Chris

And PS:  I'm starting to poke around for a Scala contract in the   Mountain View / Palo Alto area... I know it's not Sac, but if any of you know of anything, pls give me a shout.

Anything you don't otherwise give away I could always give away at Coder Consortium.  I do that for my own books.  Or you could just donate them to the local library.

Nothing I'm interested in, was just suggesting you head south for the fall.
