It’s been a busy morning of updates so far, so obviously there are lots of people out there birding and following up on previously reported rarities and out of range birds…

Western Cape:

WHITE-BROWED SCRUB ROBIN – still present this morning at Reflections Eco-Reserve in Wilderness – reported by John and Greta Graham.

Eastern Cape:

KNOB-BILLED DUCK – still present this morning at the Kruis River causeway in Uitenhage – reported by Keith Joubert.

Kwazulu Natal:

MALAGASY POND HERON – still present this morning at the dam at Mziki – reported by Barend Esterhuizen and Andre Marx.

SOOTY TERN – still present this morning at the St Lucia estuary – reported by Ian Gordon.

BAT HAWK – still present this morning at Nsumo Pan in Mkuze Game Reserve – reported by Andre Bernon.

Kind regards

Trevor
