Some other quick updates from this morning so far:
LESSER FRIGATEBIRD – as at 08h45, there has been no sign so far of the bird in Richard’s Bay this morning – reported by a number of people.
AFRICAN SKIMMERS – both birds still present this morning at Vaalkop Dam. Remember that boat trips to observe the birds can be arranged through Sarel van der Westhuizen at Finfoot Lake Lodge at 084 555 6151 – reported by Gregory Gillespie.
AFRICAN PYGMY GOOSE – still present this morning on the farm dam adjacent to Bronkhortspruit Nature Reserve at -25.964, 28.659. Please remember to first arrange permission to access the property with the farmer, Dries du Plessis, at 083 368 0474 before arriving there – reported by Andrew Buitendach.
