Time for a quick midday update…

The RUFOUS-TAILED SCRUB ROBIN did a disappearing act again this morning for about 1,5 hours, but re-appeared again a few minutes ago much to the relief of the gathered masses at the site. Now with local birder numbers bolstered this morning with out-of-towners from the Eastern Cape, Free State, Kwazulu Natal, the Knersvlakte and a large Gauteng contingent, I have the names of at least 220 individuals that have now seen the bird.

Keep the updates coming through to me about who all has seen the bird please – thanks in advance!

Kind regards
Trevor

And the bird hangs on for yet another day...

RUFOUS-TAILED SCRUB ROBIN - still present this morning in the same area at Zeekoeivlei - reported by Mark Kirk.

Please don't forget to send your details through to me if you have been to see the bird already...:)

Kind regards
Trevor
