MALAGASY POND HERON – still present this morning at the dam at Mziki – reported by Gert and Kotie Opperman, Hannes and Mariette Oosthuizen, Tony Archer, Peter Rosewarne and Shaun Atkinson.

I have also been informed that an Exclusive Use Group is booking into Phinda later today and, as such, all game drives for the bird have been cancelled until the group leaves on Sunday morning. The Sunday afternoon and Monday morning game drives are already fully booked so, therefore, the next opportunities to get to see this bird will be on the game drives from Monday afternoon, 3 July, onwards.
