I'm testing out an idea I have for a Luminaria event. Requires a blacklight. Where can I get one around town?

Looks like they have a place where near San Antonio.

What wavelength, size and power?
* Most home stores (and some big boxes) carry the 4-foot fluorescent
BLB (long-wave UVA with some visible purple) lamp that fits standard
fixtures. Also comes in other sizes; great for parties.
* Lapidary shops used to carry portable UV lamps in both long- and
short-wave, but Amazon happened. (Search "short-wave ultraviolet")
* Theatrical rental houses often have high power mercury lamps with
good UVA filters to rent. Two of these can flood a typical stage, but
they're slow to start up - no strobing allowed!
* UV LEDs exist, but the cheap ones (400nm) have a broad output
spectrum that extends into the violet. Look for a 365nm (peak)
wavelength, they're common enough on eBay. They also run hot for an LED,
so plan accordingly if you want a head-mounted array of 3W emitters.
* Wanna bake something else? A tanning bed kicks out a mix of UVA, UVB,
and who knows what. If it doesn't have to be that big, a nail salon uses
UV for curing their fingernail artwork.

Home Depot and Lowes both have them, various types, they're in the light bulb section, best ones are the fluorescent tube type.
