You know how those insertion / removal tools for connectors are so insanely expensive?  Jameco, a discount supplier, sells a little insertion/extraction tool set for $31.  It's either just plastic or plastic and stamped metal.  These can be home / small lab manufactured.  

So the market niche is to identify electrical connector tools that are way overpriced as they typically are, and produce unique versions of them for lower cost.  There may also be opportunity in dividing up toolsets that are priced higher because they cover a wide range of wire gagues, for example.  

Also, it may be better to come up with unique designs rather than copycat existing tools.  Connector design anyone?

Any thoughts on this?
