Thickness planer

Does anyone have a thickness planer that will take a board of at least
15" width that they would be willing to bring to the space or run a
board through for me? I'm planning to build a bass guitar and I could
save a few dollars by getting an unjoined two-piece blank but it will
take an awful lot of work to get it level without one. The space only
has a 10" planer as far as I know.

P.S. If anyone has any specialised tools they might be willing to lend I
would be extremely grateful for example fret crowning files. A precision
straightedge would be excellent too... I'm done now.

You might check with Craig Housely.  Not sure how big his planer is, but he does have one.

If no one has any fret-crowning files, I might split the cost with you if you can figure out which ones will work for you. Kvothe's lute shouldn't have frets, but that might not stop me from adding them.

Although if those squares have accurate enough edges they might work in a pinch. Thanks, I'll figure out what files I need and get back to you.

I don't think that they are long enough. I was envisioning the use of the square for laying out the fret.
