We are now looking for participants for the Raspberry Pi camp.

Have you been wanting to know more about Raspberry Pis?
Or have you been looking for a gentle introduction to programming your
own electronics projects?

Raspberry Pis are credit-card sized computers running a full operating
system, designed to be easily programmed allowing hobbyists to control
lights, sensors, switches, motors, and other electronic components.

On two consecutive weekends [4 days total]:
Saturday May 30th & Sunday May 31st && Saturday June 6th & Sunday June 7th
from 11:00 A.M. until 3:30 P.M.

10BitWorks and gnudon will be offering a free-of-charge makercamp.
All materials will be provided for use on site, including Raspberry Pi
version 2s, PiBrellas, PiCobblers, and electronics components such as
LEDs and stepper motors.

Though the camp is provided free of charge – space is limited so a
reservation is requested.

FAQs:
1. What age are participants?
Participants will be adults and minors [12 and older] with parental consent.
All participants will be asked to sign video release agreements.

2. How much programming experience should a participant have?
Not too much. If you’re looking to use bitwise shifters to control an
LED panel with the Pi --- this probably isn’t the class for you.
We’ll start with Scratch GPIO and proceed slowly to Python – a great
place for true beginners and novices to RPi programming.

3. Is this really free?
Yes, the camp is being provided free of charge but gnudon & 10bit would
appreciate donations to recoup costs.

4. Who do we contact for more information?
Please email dond...@reglue.org with “makercamp” in the subject line.
Additionally, details will be posted to http://www.10bitworks.com/
