Johnny Garcia of SA Live / KSAT TV sent us a link to the TV piece that he shot 10 days ago.

It features Don S and James M as the odd couple making fiesta medals, maker-space style.

The 2-1/2 minute video appeared Tuesday and now it is everywhere including 10Bit’s FaceBook page.

I up-loaded a highly compressed version onto the Raspberry Pi server at the space, Here it is, ad free.

We had 10 people at 10BitWorks on Wednesday:

Jeremy, Mike G, Don S, Greg, KC, Chris, GnuDon, Bob R, Stevanie, Dustin

GnuDon is fixin’ to put on a Raspberry Pi programming class / summer camp at 10Bit.

As a step along the way, he will be doing a pilot teaching session with just 4 learners.

The pilot will be during Art in the AM Saturday, in the studio.

By June GnuDon will have to collect 20 monitors / little TV’s with hdmi connectivity.

If you’ve got one in your closet, that we can borrow for 2 weeks, with cable, let us know.

Similarly Don S and Bob R laid plans for the Beginners SketchUp Class scheduled for next Wednesday. 37 people are signed up.

We’re going to invest in power strips and extension cords, bring in tables, yadda yadda.

That’s a big part of what Do-Ocracy Wednesday is supposed to be: i.e. a time to plan future events.
