Kinect for 360 does not work with Kinect 2.0 SDK you have to use Kinect 1.8 SDK

Just in case someone else needs to know this.
If you are trying to install the drivers for the older kinect on a windows 8.1 box. Do not install the 2.0 SDK it does not have backwards compatibility. Find the 1.8 SDK instead and it will work.
Spent many hours trying to understand why it was not working.
