On Saturday, Tom asked about making carbon fiber shells for a box.

Here's a ridiculously simple solution - however, EasyComposites web site says that this is currently out of stock.  However, there are a lot other products available.  

This gives a good overview of "skinning" an object with carbon fiber, the easy way.
