Hi,

Pyweek is a contest to make a computer game, from scratch, in one week
using the python programming language. The 23rd competition runs from
the 19th to the 26th of this month and registration is now open. The
competition is open to teams as well as individuals so if anyone is
interested in a team entry we could have a hackathon or two at 10bit.
Coders, designers, artists and musicians all welcome.

For more information see https://pyweek.org/23

Happy hacking,

Adam.

I might be down :)

Are python-based engines allowed? Like PyGame, RenPy etc?

Yes. I was thinking pyglet but I'm biased and I'm willing to use whatever most are familiar with. There are some rules on the website regarding what libraries and assets you can use but it's pretty inclusive.

If anyone is interested please sign up at pyweek.org and send me your username so I can add you to the team. We will be collaborating with a friend of mine in the UK, via the internet. Theme voting is underway so see what you like the look of.
