I salvaged some huge linear slides from some medical equipment. they seem to be designed for a load of a couple hundred pounds, one of them is 86 inches long, the other one my tape measure broke as i was measuring and i was too lazy to measure it. anyway, if you want to build a huge cnc maybe this would be useful.
