Help: Portable Laser Cutter

Hello,

This is joey from the Convergent Media Collective.  Last year we helped yal raise over $12,000 for a large format laser cutter and it was a huge success.  This year we need yals help raising some money ($2,500 to be exact).

The good news is we are raising money that will directly benefit 10bitworks.

We were recently accepted to Luminaria and part of our application included "Tortillas and Technology", an art installation that uses a portable laser cutter to etch images on tortillas.  As some of you all have seen throughout the past couple months we have been prototyping out the process at the hackerspace and doing some promotional pieces as well.

Once Luminaria is complete, our next goal is to team up with 10bitworks to take the portable laser cutter out on the road and use it as a 10bitworks calling card and public awareness of STEAM/maker initiatives in general.

So please, spread the word, and if you can donate, even if it is only $1.00 we appreciate it.
