Nandi Hills run / walk / crawl, Saturday, 9th May 2008

Hi kids,

The plan so far :)

meeting point on airport road is right outside Manipal Hospital, opposite the petrol bunk.

Need a volunteer... someone must have a sweet better-half or someone who wouldn't mind driving after running first lap, as Some of us plan to only run up-hill and get a drive back down.

Pls cajole or arm twist someone for this job, else Arvind Krishnan will be forced to do this.

People in the pilot car (maroon Civic 2288) so far:

• Varun (by default)
• Ravi (has to confirm from where)
• Leona (again have to figure out from Cubbon Park or Manipal Hospital)
• Kieran

• Arvind (if any of the guys drop out, I would suggest you get your car and just tag along)

Again, just confirming the times:

Departure from Airport Road: 5:00 am sharp, I'll be there earlier

1st stop: Cubbon Park: 5:10 (only if Leona or others are getting to Cubbon Park)
5:15 am sharp departure, I'll be there earlier

2nd stop: GKVK: 5:25
5:30 am sharp departure

aim for getting to base of Nandi Hills by 6:15 am

Friends,

Jagdish and I plan to join all of you tomorrow for the Nandi run. We live near GKVK and can give a ride from there. Plan to reach GKVK gate at 5:15 am- depart from GKVK by 5:20 am. Should reach Nandi base by 6:10 am.

Those of you who  want to donate your shoes - (I think Claudia wanted to do so), you could bring them along with you and hand them over to me before we start the run. Sabine (who is currently out of town) and I are coordinating the shoe donation program.
