We are expanding our Tech Teams! We have had a great experience with several Romanian consultants, and now it's time to build our "in-house" Bent Pixels Dev Team. You'll work together with existing team so we can continue our growth into the future.

SALARY

The salary is discussed depending on experience, skills, and flexibility. Prove yourself and you'll climb the ladder, getting both praise and more compensation. We're looking for a contractor with the expectation to transition into employee status in the future, when we'll have a Romanian entity established. 

FLEXIBILITY IN WORK HOUR

With offices in Las Vegas, Nevada, U.S. and Los Angeles, California, U.S. the time difference of 9h is substantial. The higher pay ranges are for those willing to work 1 or 2 evenings a week, until noon U.S. (1200 PST / 2100 CET). 

If you prefer to work late evenings and start later in the day, we'd love that. Naturally, you'll get a more central role as you'd be available for CEO, COO, etc in U.S., while those getting off at 1700 CET (0800 PST) would not. 

SKILLS

To keep it simple, we use

• Ruby (2.2)
• Rails (4.2)
• AngularJS

and PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB, AWS Redshift, AWS Kinect, AWS SES, AWS S3, heroku, and hundreds of gems we won't list here.

Quality and testing is important to us, as we service many Multi-Channel Networks (MCNs) with 20K+ YouTube channels. As such, good skills in the following are essential:

• TDD/BDD RSpec, vcr, capybara
• Acceptance test with capybara
• Front-end testing -- we need to improve here and would love your help if you have the expertise
