How to contribute

Hello,

I want to contribute, but I could not understand all steps to do it.

I have downloaded the rails code into my PC.

I have setup the rails-dev and ran it with vagrant (http://edgeguides.rubyonrails.org/contributing_to_ruby_on_rails.html).

How can I edit the code and see it running?
