Hi

I just updated my Arch Linux machine to ruby 2.3.0 and can't update gems:

$ gem update

Updating installed gems

ERROR:  While executing gem ... (Gem::RemoteFetcher::FetchError)

    bad response Not Found 404 (https://rubygems.global.ssl.fastly.net/specs.4.8.gz)

Hosting returns 404 error that makes me believe something is going on with the server

$ curl --head https://rubygems.global.ssl.fastly.net/specs.4.8.gz

Our CDN provider had an outage at that time. We saw connection errors as well as 404s for a while but everything recovered in about 90 minutes. You can always check our current status at status.rubygems.org or our twitter account @rubygems_status.
