Bundler Monthly Update - February 2014

Hello and welcome to the monthly bundler update!

Here you can find what the core team has been up to for the past month, and what we are planning for the future.

• André Arko spoke at RubyFuza 2014 and RailsSchool SF about recent events with Bundler and Rubygems, and plans for the future. A video of the RailsSchool talk is available at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YN3wncFr4FA.

• 1.6.0 release candidate is out! Final release is scheduled for Feb. 26.

• Work on the new index is progressing. Docs and prototype now at http://github.com/bundler/new-index.

• A detailed writeup of the new index format is in progress and will be on the Bundler blog soon.

• Released 1.5.3 with bugfixes for increased parallel install speed and gems that were incorrectly marked as missing.
