While tryingto update from fedora 27 to 28 I got an erreor message which stop the upgrade
Error:
Problem: package rspamd-1.7.4-2.x86_64 requires libevent-2.0.so.5()(64bit), but none of the providers can be installed

In case you come to that issue, I have created a Copr Fedora Repository on which I have build 1.7.4 for F27 and F28 ( x86_64 )

If you want to enable that repository which is available at https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/pipiche/rspamd/

you can do :

dnf copr enable pipiche/rspamd

Thank you. I installed the above in an attempt to upgrade from lorbus/rspamd,
which is also in copr. Unfortunately, it gave a termination signal whenever I
tried to start the daemon.

Has anyone else on the list experienced this? It's a Fedora 28 system.

Did you have a look to the logfile ?

As I have aligned it with the rspamd repository, the ownership are on _rspamd:_rspamd while lorbus was on rspamd:rspamd
So I suggest you to have a look to /var/lib/rspamd if you have the right ownership on the directory and the files

Thank you. The log file only showed a termination signal. I did temporarily switch SELinux to permissive mode, but that didn’t help.

I’ll re-install and check the ownership and permissions.t help.

I’ll re-install and check the ownership and permissions.

This looks strange. Are you on i686 or x86_64 architecture ?

It's x86_64. I'll be away next week but expect to have time to debug it after
I return.

Which repo should I follow for a smooth transition to the eventual "official"
Fedora packages? Or is the plan not yet settled?
