Hello All,

I would like to warmly announce what the Japanese woodwork class will do this next semester.
We will learn basic Japanese style woodworking for 15 weeks beginning this August.
In class I will introduce Japanese tools and teach how to use these tools to make some jigs as small projects.
In the end of the semester, students will create their own designs for their final projects.

Because Japanese style and ideas are not always the same as western styles and ideas, the Japanese created different ways based on their own culture and life style.
I will introduce many subjects of the Japanese way which can be understood by all levels of skill. Beginners are welcome.
The study of Japanese woodworking is an enjoyable and deep subject that provides learning for a lifetime.
The class for Fall 2016 is Monday 6-10 pm.
Hope see many of you in the class !

Check those out if you have time during the holidays.
