Dear GGIR users,

I am using GGIR for the first time. With a few very minor tweaks the R script is working well with my Geneactiv watch data (although I have a concern with the calculations of IV and IS, but I'll raise that in a different thread).

The R script is not producing any output for Part 4. Output for Parts 1-3 and Part 5 are OK. The data quality report suggests that the data is OK. I feel there is something quite basic that I am missing. Any suggestions for a novice user?

I am not using manual sleep logs at this stage, but my understanding is that the GGIR package will estimate onset and offset times based on the data. Is that correct?

Thank you in advance

Hi Ben,

Best to paste the script you've used and also specify which version you are using as this helps users to help you. If you do this me or someone else will have a look i'm sure :)

Kind regards,
Ben

Thanks for your response Ben. I used GGIR Package version 2.1-0 and just the standard g.shell.GGIR script. If I attach the config file does that help?

Hi Ben,

So having a quick skim down the config file you only have do.report as 2, will it run with this: do.report=c(2,4)?

Thank you Ben, that worked! Such a simple thing! Much appreciated.

Kind Regards

Yes, part 4 should work without providing a sleeplog.
Are you sure you have do.report = 4?
Does part 3 generate pdf plots in the meta/qc.sleep folder?
Are there milestone data in the meta/ms4.out  folder?

Hi Vincent, thank you for your response. It was do.report = 4 that I was missing. Rookie mistake :)
