SDG North County Emergency Communications Net - Wednesday, Sept 24, 2014 at 7pm.
All Amateurs are invited to participate, including ARES, CERT, RACES, SATERN and RED CROSS members.
Repeater check-ins begin at 7:00pm on the 147.030 (+103.5) ECRA Repeater on Palomar Mountain, and then we switch to Simplex so that you can make as many Simplex contacts as possible.
There will be another portable rover deployment this evening that will be explained at the beginning of the net. The idea is to see how many of the low-power portable units you can hear / and contact, thus simulating the conditions of a real event.
SIMPLEX Net Frequencies shown below. 146.550 Coast, 146.445 Inland, 147.480 Mountain Backcountry (incl. Ramona)
