THERE IS NO DOUBT THAT SNOWDEN VIOLATED THE LAW
WHEN HE EXPOSED THE FACT THAT THE GOVT WAS VIOLATING THE 4TH AMENDMENT.
THAT IS INDISPUTABLE.
Can a law passed by Congress trump the Supreme Law of the Land?
It is argued, that Snowden should be prosecuted because he harmed the country
At the same time it can be said that allowing the govt to act post-Constitutionally
harms the Bill of Rights?
Then the conundrum is: is the nation better served by making 4th amendment optional
at the cost making the term "Supreme Law of the Land" a misnomer?
If Snowden is found guilty in a court of law
and is sentenced to ten years in prison,
shouldn't the perps who did more harm to the nation
serve more than ten years in prison?
Why not?
